Mikayla Holden is thirteen and lives in Oklahoma with her family. Mikayla, who has been working on Addy Love for over two years, loves to write. She also enjoys playing soccer and being an older sister to her neighbors Elena, Ally, and Easton. Mikayla has been pursuing her dream to become an author ever since writing her very first book at a young age and looks forward to writing more books for her readers to enjoy. Mikayla drew inspiration for Addy Love from her best friend Grace Brumback and from the beautiful countryside that surrounds her home. She is currently working on this book's sequel; the tale of Addy and her life in the west will live on.
